These instructions are for existing Alboum clients only. Your organization must be set-up for self-onboarding for these instructions to work. Please contact help@alboum.com to discuss if this approach is right for your team.
Setting up an account on the Alboum Translation Services interpretation platform gives you access to both on-demand and prescheduled interpretation services. To get started, click on the link provided by your organization.
- Agree to Terms and Conditions, and then click on Register with Google.
- Click Accept to allow connection with our platform. Note that you will see the logo for and name “Boostlingo” – this is correct, Boostlingo provides the software behind our system.
- You will be redirected to our Interpreter Manager
- Your time zone will be updated to the time zone of the location of the computer you’re using. Click Acknowledge.
- It is mandatory to update your profile and language for the service to Click on the Configuration button on the left and then click Edit.
- Complete your Select your Default Service Type and add English as your Native Language. Click Save to complete the changes.
- Your registration is Your Alboum interpretation account credentials are linked directly to your Microsoft account. You can now access the system from any computer or mobile device that is also logged into your Microsoft account.
To find your PIN number to use for on-demand phone access, click on the Configuration button on the left. Hover over the question marks to see your PIN.
To schedule an interpreter to join a virtual meeting on Zoom, Teams, Meet, or another platform, click on the Appointments button on the left and then the gray Create New Appointment button. We will assign your interpreter and the information will be posted on your dashboard.
